Don Roberto Servitje's participation in the 2012 edition of the

Business for peace awards

In 2010 I had the honor of being awarded with the Oslo Business for Peace Award.

It is an acknowledgement that a prestigious Norwegian institution has been granting during recent years to recognize distinguished entrepreneurs in the world, who have concerned themselves with contributing towards the creation of socially responsible communities.

This institution has links with the International Chamber of Commerce, an international organization representing the voice of the business world, the defense of world economy as a force for economic growth, as well as the creation of jobs and prosperity.

In this 2012 edition (May 7), I was invited as a Key Note Speaker, which I consider an honor, but also a great opportunity to present our values and philosophy which we experience in Grupo Bimbo as part of our personal and personal development every day.

The ceremony was held at the City Hall, a place that by tradition has housed the most prestigious events such as the Nobel Prize awarding ceremony. Although Oslo is a small city of 454 squared kilometers, it is the science, economic and cultural center of excellence of Norway.

What filled me with pride and joy was noticing that in these far lands there is great knowledge of and an excellent image of our dear company, Grupo Bimbo
