Grupo Bimbo is once again the company with the Best Reputation in Mexico, according to the 2019 Merco rankings of Mexican Companies and Leaders.

For the third consecutive year, Grupo Bimbo is at the top of the Merco rankings of Mexican Companies and Leaders. The company received the award for the Company with the Best Reputation in the country, the Food Company with the Best Reputation, and its president and CEO, Daniel Servitje was yet again recognized as the Most Trustworthy Leader with the Best Reputation.

The 7th year of this ranking determined the winners through multiple performance-based factors:

1. Economic results, quality of business offerings and corporate responsibility.

2. The opinions of financial journalists, financial analysts, social media managers, NGOs and academic organizations.

3. Surveys of the general public.

4. Digital presence.

5. Evaluation of merits.

For all of these components, Grupo Bimbo had an outstanding score since it received 10,000 points, the highest score that is awarded in this ranking.

In addition, Daniel Servitje was awarded an excellent score.

It is important to note that in 2019, the evaluations for creating the ranking took into account new variables. These include the companies’ commitment to investment and employment, as well as their dedication to gender equality. These are commitments that Grupo Bimbo has always strived for.

This award is significant for Grupo Bimbo, since it motivates all of its associates to continue working to build a sustainable, highly productive and deeply humane company.
