My store was affected by the competition, but sales have recovered since I joined the Qiubo Network 18 months ago
words of Miguel González
In 2015, Grupo Bimbo through the Qiubo Network, its electronic transaction platform, joined Better Than Cash, in a partnership that seeks to make a responsible and beneficial transition from cash to digital payments, and to reduce poverty and allow inclusive growth, everything in order to provide greater possibilities to the shopkeepers and owners of small businesses that saw their sales affected by technological change.
Today, more than 49,000 shopkeepers who participated with Grupo Bimbo see the results of this alliance, results that can be seen in the case study published las June 11 2018, having increased their income up to 30% by allowing electronic payments with credit cards, debit cards, vouchers, as well as payments and sales of airtime services, allowing them to compete and remain ahead of the curve.
“My store was affected by the competition, but sales have recovered since I joined the Qiubo Network 18 months ago", were the words of Miguel González, a storeowner who had transitioned to digital payment.
The Qiubo Network, operated by Blue Label Mexico, has been facilitating the installation of point of sale terminals since September 2013, an action that today shows results for owners of small businesses, as well as being part of Grupo Bimbo’s value chain and a fundamental piece of the national economy.
