Kantar Worldpanel, one of the world's largest research and consulting networks, has announced its annual study on the most important brands worldwide. According to its Brand Footprint 2018 report, Bimbo is one of the most important global brands, ranking 18th and being the only Mexican company to be named in the list, which consists of 50 places.
Kantar Worldpanel makes its valuation based on CRP (Consumer Reach Points), a metric that analyzes consumer behavior towards the product, measuring how many homes buy the brand and how often, that is, the consumer's penetration and preference towards products or services.
For these reasons, Bimbo is considered among the 20 most important and preferred brands in the world, with an increase of 3% in its CRP, while the average global increase is 1.5%, meaning it grew at twice the speed than the average of companies within this ranking of 50 positions.
A valuable Mexican brand: Bimbo
Likewise, Brand Finance, an independent English consultancy, and leader in brand evaluation and strategy, included Bimbo within its Top 10 most valuable Mexican brands, which reaffirms the strength and growth of the company, both nationally and globally.
With presence in four continents and 32 countries - 10 of which began operations in 2017.
