Grupo Bimbo Joins The “Limpiemos Nuestro México” (Clean Our Mexico) Program For The Ninth Consecutive Year
For the ninth consecutive year, Grupo Bimbo joined Fundación Azteca’s "Limpiemos Nuestro México” (Clean Our Mexico) initiative, actively participating with brigades in various parts of the country, where the goal was set to bring together 90,000 volunteers, including associates of the company, their families and friends, and civil associations and business partners.
“Limpiemos Nuestro México” is part of the activities carried out by Grupo Bimbo to care for the environment within its sustainability platform. This initiative is characterized by inviting everyone to participate in a clean-up day with the objective of cleaning public spaces and creating awareness of proper garbage disposal.
The brigades organized by Grupo Bimbo gathered in locations where the company has operations in order to clean several emblematic sites nearby.
Grupo Bimbo works in a sustainable way for a better world for present and future generations, through various actions that include, among other things, the reduction of its carbon footprint and its water footprint, the integral management of waste and conservation and the improvement of the environment.
