Clean Transport is a voluntary national program, developed by SCT and SEMARNAT and mainly aimed at freight and passenger transport companies, both urban and out-of-town ones, as well as users of freight services. Among its main objectives is reducing fuel use, greenhouse gas emissions and shipping operation costs.

Leonel Carrasco, Grupo Bimbo Corporate Vehicles Vice-President, pointed out that: “From our beginning we have made it a point to take care for and preserve the environment, which is why we will continue to participate in this program, as well as in any other initiative that benefits our planet. Our participation in this program has eased our contribution to the reduction of the carbon footprint; it has also improved the fuel efficiency in our fleet of vehicles and waste reduction.
